Webinars and Courses / Live Events / Subscriptions: Terms and Conditions

1.       Your order constitutes a legally binding contract. You are liable for payment of all the fees due to Conveyancing Matters Limited. Your product will not be made available to you until payment in full is received.

2.       Confirmation of your booking will be sent by email or post. A VAT invoice will be sent separately to you if requested.

3.       Prices may be subject to change.

4.       Conveyancing Matters Limited will provide confirmation of access to a live event, access to a webinar and/or a zoom invite for an on-line event before the event date

5.       If webinar/s are included in the product fee:

a.       you will receive access to the subscriber’s area of the Conveyancing Matters website (if a stand-alone webinar/s is part of a live event package, it will be sent within 2 weeks after the event date)

b.       the webinar/s will be available to subscribers to view for the duration of their subscription. Once a subscription is cancelled all on line content will not be available to view

c.       the webinar/s will not be updated once they are made available to view

6.       Discount offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other Conveyancing Matters Limited promotion or offer. If you are in any doubt about the fee payable, please contact us before placing your booking on lorraine@convmatters.co.uk

7.       Cancellations – you can cancel your subscription at any time but no refund of all or part of any subscription fee will be due to you on cancellation.

8.       Annual individual subscribers will be permitted to attend all Conveyacing Matters Live events, if offered, during the period of their subscription

9.       Annual corporate subscribers will be permitted to send a maximum of three employees to attend all Conveyacing Matters Live events, if offered, during the period of their subscription

10.       Delegates may be substituted at any time at no additional cost providing written confirmation of the change of name/s is provided in writing by 4pm on the working day prior to a course or live event date

11.       Conveyancing Matters Limited will have no liability and is not obliged to waive all or part of the product fee if you cannot access a webinar due to firewalls, other hardware or software issues within your organisation or failure of any system used by you

12.     Nothing in these terms and conditions obliges Conveyancing Matters Limited to offer live events and if such events are cancelled or not offered, no refund of all or part of any subscription fee will be payable by Conveyancing Matters Limited

13.     Any ticket or written confirmation issued by Conveyacing Matters Limited to confirm attendance at a Conveyancing Matters Live event shall have no financial value and cannot be exchanged for goods or money. It entitles the bearer to entry to the specified Conveyacing Matters Live event. In the event that the bearer cannot attend, no refunds or compensation will be given.

14.     If you purchase a stand-alone ticket for a Conveyacing Matters Live event for £15 and the event does not run, your ticket fee will be refunded

15.   You consent to Conveyancing Matters Limited monitoring the number of computers which access a webinar and their IP addresses in order to ensure that the access URL has not been distributed beyond those entitled to view the webinar pursuant to these terms

16.   Conveyancing Matters Limited reserves its copyright in all events, webinar/s and all materials and recordings associated with them, and no licence is hereby granted for you or your organisation or others in your organisation to:

a.       copy or distribute a webinar or permit viewing by those outside your organisation (whether as a commercial activity or otherwise) of a live webinar, any recording of it, or the materials associated with it, including all links to such recordings and materials that may be sent to you

b.       record or distribute in any way any part of a live event

17.   If the product booking includes a live event, such booking is subject to any additional rules and cancellation terms of the venue.

18.   Conveyancing Matters Limited reserves the right to alter the course content, speakers or venue where necessary

19.   Should Conveyancing Matters Limited have to cancel a course or live event we do not accept responsibility for travel, accommodation or other costs which may have been incurred by any delegate. Conveyancing Matters Limited will use reasonable endeavours to notify delegates of any change of venue, speaker or cancellation.

20.   Any booking made with Conveyancing Matters Limited will be deemed to include your acceptance of all of the policies and disclaimers contained in this ‘Terms and Conditions’ section of the website.

We will keep a record of your information. It may be stored on relevant systems such as cloud systems, our website, Mailchimp, and accounting systems which are GDPR compliant. 

We store sensitive data for as long as services are in progress and customers remain active clients. Email addresses provided via Mailchimp are stored until consent is withdrawn, reconsent is requested every 2 years. Information required for tax and legal requirements are held for 7 years as a requirement by law.

We keep a record of any e-mail communication you send us, so we can track any problems or concerns you’ve had.

In addition to personal information, our website may use Google Analytics to ensure we are meeting your customer needs. Google Analytics stores usage data which may include your IP address, geographical location, referral source, length of visit and page views – although a lot of this is aggregated data. The legal basis for this is legitimate interest for the basis of ensuring we are meeting customer needs.

We may process information you submit to us when you contact us for the purposes of ensuring we answer your query effectively.
